Facility Regulations
· General Rules of Conduct must be followed at all times (i.e.: no fighting,
spitting, foul language, etc.).
· Excess attire/personal items must be stored in locker. They will NOT
be held by any Student-Employee.
· The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey is NOT responsible for any
lost or stolen property. ADMITTANCE AND USER SIGN-IN PROCEDURES:
· For use of the facilities, visitors must check-in first at the Front
Desk through the designated entrances.
· Visitors must present a VALID STOCKTON ID to use the facilities or be
the guest of a member. VALID STOCKTON ID: Current Student, Faculty/Staff,
or Alumni Card.
GUEST POLICY:
· A Valid ID member may bring ONE Guest per visit and the member must
be present at all times with guest.
· Guests must be signed into the facility as well
· The Valid ID member will take FULL RESPONSIBILITY for their guest.
· Guests are required and expected to follow ALL facility rules.
ATTIRE:
· All visitors are expected to abide by the attire regulations for each
area within the facility. Shirts must be worn in all areas, except for
locker rooms, the pool, and steam room (swimsuit is minimum attire in
the pool and steam room).
· Excess attire, such as: coats, warm-ups, and sweat suits must be stored
in a locker when not being worn.
TRUSTEES MEMORIAL FITNESS ROOM and I-WING WEIGHT ROOMS:
· All users of the Trustees Memorial Fitness Room and I-Wing Weight Rooms
must be at least 17 years of age. This includes guests, as well.
· All users must be in proper workout attire at all times: shirt, shorts/sweats,
and sneakers. Shirts must be worn at all times. No open-toed shoes or
bare feet.
· Excess attire and bags must be stored in a locker, not on floor or windows.
· Water is the ONLY beverage permitted. Other drinks/all foods are prohibited.
· Share the machines - allow others to use the machine during your breaks
· Do not misuse, drop, or throw any equipment
· Personal items will NOT be held by any Student-Employees.
ARENA and GYMNASIUM:
· All visitors must enter the area through the appropriate entrance (Front
Desk).
· Any visitor who illegally enters or assists with others illegally entering
the facility will be asked to leave the facilities.
· NO FOOD or BEVERAGES are permitted.
· Wall mats are not to be removed.
· Unsupervised activities that present a safety concern may be prohibited,
such as: practices, martial arts, gymnastics, cheerleading, or break-dancing.
· All visitors using the courts must wear proper attire: white-soled sneakers
(no boots or dress shoes), shirts at ALL TIMES, and athletic attire.
· Excess attire and bags must be stored in a locker. Personal items will
NOT be held by any Student-Employees.
· Radios are permitted to play at personal levels (must not disturb other
users).
LOCKER ROOMS:
· Personal items will NOT be held by any Student-Employees. So, all personal
items must be stored in a locker.
· Locks and all belongings must be removed daily. After each semester,
all unclaimed items are discarded.
· Users are required to bring their own towel. No laundry service is available.
· Water is the ONLY beverage permitted. Other drinks/all foods are prohibited.
EQUIPMENT RENTAL:
· Equipment can be checked in and out by college community members with
a Valid ID at the Front Desks.
· ID is held at the Front Desks until the equipment is returned.
TENNIS, RACQUETBALL, AND SQUASH:
· Visitors must be properly signed in at the I-Wing Front Desk
· Proper eyewear is recommended. All visitors must be fully clothed (including
shirts & white-soled shoes) at all times.
· Courts are for specific uses ONLY. No more than 4 players per court.
STEAM ROOM:
· Users must limit their sessions to no more than 10 minutes at a time,
if dizziness occurs, exit immediately.
· Swimsuit is minimum attire.
