| Bonjavanni Set to Return from
Rotator Cuff Injury
Anthony
Bonjavanni will be ready to play in the Lacrosse opening game
at Wesley on Saturday. Bonjavanni is a junior middie that totaled
8 goals and 3 assissts for the Ospreys in 2007 while playing in
every game. During the summer of 2007 he injured his shoulder
in a summer lacrosse league. He was diagnosed with shoulder instability
and a rotator cuff strain. He started rehab at home at a local
physical therapy clinic.
He began rehab with Stockton Athletic Training Services
in September when he returned to school. The injury kept him somewhat
limited for the fall season but he was able to participate. Bonjavanni
has completed over 50 rehab sessions on his shoulder since September
to make sure he is ready for his spring season. "Anthony
has done an outstanding job with his shoulder rehab. He's been
very committed to the process. We expect him to have a very productive
season." commented, Jon Heck, MS, ATC, Coordinator of Athletic
Training. Bonjavanni will continue rehab 3 times per week for
the remainder of the semester.
