Feminist Literary Theory (1-2 credits)

Literary theory and criticism has been deeply influenced by feminist theory during the last thirty years. Indeed, overall cultural attitudes have been profoundly affected by feminist thinking during this period. This reading list combines a review of the feminist movement and an introduction to current theory and criticism with close reading of various works of literature.
