Now fades the glimmering landscape on the sight -- This one of my favorite lines. It is a clear reference to night ("night has fallen"), but pause longer over the wording. Dusk is falling over a still "glimmering landscape". The light that is flickering but not quite gone has an effect "on the sight," suggesting this atmosphere has a fading, but still enlightening effect on the sight, or understanding of the poetic voice.
