Tierra_del_Fuego Expedition

2008

Winter 2008:

For the second year, researchers from both the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey and the Wetlands Institute will journey to Tierra del Fuego to study the Red Knot, an endangered shorebird and to study the conservation biology/biodiversity of Patagonia. There are some new additions to the research team this year, Dr. Aliza Baltz, Curator of Birds, from the Philadelphia Zoo and Susie Burbidge, Biologist, from the Vermont Institute of Natural Sciences.  We are looking forward to in southernmost Chile to research the Red Knot.  Follow our sixteen day Patagonia adventure through blogs, podcasts, videos & more!
