Welcome to the Geology Homepage at Richard Stockton College of New Jersey. It is possible to earn a Bachelor of Arts or a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology at Stockton. As part of either degree students study all of the traditional disciplines of geology (mineralogy, petrology, structural geology, field methods, sedimentology, stratigraphy, geomorphology, and paleontology). Once they have a broad background, students are encouraged to delve more deeply in one or two of the traditional fields or to study environmental geology, hydrogeology, soils, marine geology, or geophysics.
