  • International Action Center - Founded by Ramsey Clark, Former U.S. Attorney General
  • What's FAIR - the national media watch group, has been offering well-documented criticism of media bias and censorship since 1986. We work to invigorate the First Amendment by advocating for greater diversity in the press and by scrutinizing media practices that marginalize public interest, minority and dissenting viewpoints. As an anti-censorship organization, we expose neglected news stories and defend working journalists when they are muzzled. As a progressive group, FAIR believes that structural reform is ultimately needed to break up the dominant media conglomerates, establish independent public broadcasting and promote strong non-profit sources of information.
  • NCAC National Coalition Against Censorship - "The National Coalition Against Censorship (NCAC), founded in 1974, is an alliance of 50 national nonprofit organizations, including literary, artistic, religious, educational, professional, labor, and civil liberties groups.   • cursor.org - Online magazine with investigative bent, left perspective, and satirical outlook. Much coverage of 9-11 issues
  • IMC - Independent Media Center - Indymedia is a collective of independent media organizations and hundreds of journalists offering grassroots, non-corporate coverage. Indymedia is a democratic media outlet for the creation of radical, accurate, and passionate tellings of truth.
  • Youth Radio - Youth Radio promotes young people's intellectual, creative, and professional growth through training and access to media.
  • Tres Producers - Critiques of popular culture, different slants on the news. Much irreverence often news and opinion on 9-11. See "September 11 and Its Aftermath" for example
  • "Out of Bounds Magazine" edited by Alexander Cockburn and Jeffrey St. Clair. Hundreds of 9-11 links and articles.
  • Yorkshire CND is a branch of the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament - the only organization in Britain dedicated to campaigning against nuclear weapons. They are independent of all the political parties and are funded entirely by their members and supporters. Their office in Bradford is staffed by a full-time worker and volunteers. They have members, activists and groups throughout the region.

Our mission is to provide public access to the political process. C-SPAN receives no government funding; operations are funded by fees paid by cable and satellite affiliates who carry C-SPAN programming.
